Ardmore Banking Advisors Teams with Bank Director and Heritage Bank to Present Webinar on Identifying and Mitigating Climate-Related Credit Risk
Ardmore Banking Advisors, Heritage Bank and Bank Director were pleased to collaborate on a recent webinar, “Managing Banks Newest Emerging Credit Risk.”
Originally presented on September 26, 2023, the presentation explored an approach to managing the newest emerging credit risk that bankers face today using common sense credit risk management processes.
Kate Dixon, Heritage Bank’s SVP and Director of Credit Review, joined the presentation to discuss how Ardmore has worked with the bank to establish a process for identifying climate-related credit risk in their portfolio, how it can be tracked, and tools and techniques to successfully manage this emerging risk.
Nearly 100 bankers from across the United States were in attendance, with asset sizes ranging from small community banks to major institutions.
