Ardmore Banking Advisors, Inc. (“Ardmore”, “we”, or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information. This Privacy Policy details certain policies implemented throughout our company governing Ardmore’s use of personally identifiable information about visitors to our Internet website (the “Site”) located at http://www.ardmoreadvisors.com.  

Privacy Policy Updates

Due to the Internet’s rapidly evolving nature, Ardmore may need to update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If so, Ardmore will post a notice of the change and the updated Privacy Policy on our Site located at http://www.ardmoreadvisors.com/privacy-policy. We may also send registered visitors of the Site e-mail notifications notifying such visitors of any changes to the Privacy Policy. If any change is unacceptable to you, you have the right to cease using this Site. If you do not cease using this Site, you will be deemed to have accepted Ardmore’s then current Privacy Policy.

Information Collection

You can generally visit the Site without revealing any personally identifiable information about yourself. In certain sections of the Site, however, we may invite you to contact us for information or questions, inquire about a job or apply for a job, or provide other information, such as referrals, or to obtain content we provide for informational and marketing purposes.  In such situations, you may disclose to us your name, phone number, email address, title, company name, and certain employment-related information.

We may track and store information such as the total number of visitors to our Site, the number of visitors to each page of our Site, your IP address, your browser type, the number of External Website (defined below) pages you have visited, and other browsing or computer data.

Use of Information

We may use your personally identifiable information you submit to the Site to contact you to deliver certain information you have requested, verify your authority to enter our Site, consider your eligibility for employment, improve the content and general administration of the Site, provide you with notices regarding services that you have purchased or may wish to purchase in the future, and for targeted advertising.

Ardmore may process or share your information that you submit to the Site based on the following legal basis:

  • Consent: We may process your information if you have given us specific consent to use your personal information for a specific purpose.
  • Legitimate Interests: We may process your information when it is reasonably necessary to achieve our legitimate business interests.
  • Performance of a Contract: Where we have entered into a contract with you, we may process your personal information to fulfill the terms of our contract.

  • Vital Interests:  We may disclose your information where we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or act regarding potential violations of our policies, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the safety of any person and illegal activities, or as evidence in litigation in which we are involved. 

We may also use aggregate information (defined below) to analyze and report upon trends, improve the services we provide to you and our clients, administer the Site and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. 

Aggregate Information:

Some of the information collected by Ardmore is used for analysis purposes. This information is analyzed in an anonymous format. The groups created by such information are devoid of most personally identifiable information, such that individuals cannot be easily identified. 

We will only keep your personal information for as long as it is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law (such as tax, accounting or other legal requirements). No purpose in this Privacy Policy will require us keeping your personal information for longer than two (2) years.

When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

Children’s Privacy

Ardmore recognizes the privacy interests of children and we encourage parents and guardians to take an active role in their children’s online activities and interests. The Site is not intended for children under the age of 13. Ardmore does not target its services or the Site to children under 13. Ardmore does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13.

Reviewing, Limiting and Deleting Personally Identifiable Information Collected Through the Sites

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your Ardmore provides you with the ability to review, correct, and delete your personally identifiable information that we have received if it is inaccurate; provided, however, that Ardmore will retain a copy in its files of all personally identifiable information, even if corrected, necessary to resolve disputes. Controls for do-not-track features 

Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this Privacy Policy.

Security

We employ procedural and technological measures that are reasonably designed to help protect your personally identifiable information from loss, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. Ardmore uses encryption, Transport Layer Security, firewalls, password protection and takes other physical security measures and places internal restrictions on who within Ardmore may access your data to help prevent unauthorized access to your personally identifiable information. 

The safety and security of your information also depends on you. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of our Site, you are responsible for keeping that password confidential. We ask you not to share your password with anyone. You also acknowledge that your account is personal to you and agree not to provide any other person with access to this Site or portions of it using your user name, password or other security information. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your user name or password or any other breach of security. 

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal information, as described above, we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Site. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. We are not responsible for circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures contained on the Site.
