Consultant

We are seeking Consultants to become an integral part of the Ardmore team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • As part of an Ardmore team, evaluate bank loan portfolios for the efficacy of the Credit Risk Management (CRM) Program to include identification, measurement, monitoring, control, and reporting of credit risk.
  • Review borrowers for proper identification of credit risk as reflected in credit risk ratings and
  • As part of an Ardmore team, evaluate bank loan portfolios for efficacy of Credit Risk Management Program (CRM) to include identification, measurement, monitoring, control and reporting of credit risk
  • Review borrowers for proper identification of credit risk as reflected in credit risk ratings and confirm or recommend change in ratings
  • Review borrowers for appropriate underwriting of credit for borrower and credit facilities to include evaluation of any structural weaknesses
  • Review borrowers for proper monitoring and control of borrower relationship by bank to include receipt and analysis of financial information required for loans, other data and/or documents required for loan collateral, if any, and any trends within the borrower, its industry or the economy that could jeopardize repayment of loan obligations within terms 
  • Provide qualitative and quantitative commentary on overall administration and supervision of the bank’s loan portfolio and credit risk observed during the review and evaluation of borrowers
  • Provide suggestions for opportunities to assist client by making recommendations 
  • Act as part of a collaborative team, sharing technical and/or credit issue expertise with other team members
  • Collaborate with and support quality control process during reviews 
  • Identify and recommend value-added consulting or credit information technology opportunities for clients

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of banking credit experience required, working with commercial business customers as a 1st line of defense relationship officer, 2nd line of defense credit officer, 3rd line of defense loan review officer or as a bank examiner for a Federal or State agency 
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
  • Strong credit skills and experience
  • Ability to work with clients and other team members to resolve issues and achieve quality goals
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate in a respectful and assertive manner and deliver “bad news” in a consultative manner
  • Proficiency with basic laptop skills and a solid foundation with MS Office products

Senior Consultant

We are seeking Senior Consultants to become an integral part of the Ardmore team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • As part of an Ardmore team, evaluate bank loan portfolios for efficacy of Credit Risk Management Program (CRM) to include identification, measurement, monitoring, control and reporting of credit risk
  • Act as occasional back up for Team Leader on assignments as required
  • Act as back up for quality control role occasionally as required
  • Act as part of a team, providing technical or credit issue assistance to team members as necessary
  • Review borrowers for proper identification of credit risk as reflected in credit risk ratings and confirm or recommend change in ratings
  • Review borrowers for appropriate underwriting of credit for borrower and credit facilities to include evaluation of any structural weaknesses
  • Review borrowers for proper monitoring and control of borrower relationship by bank to include receipt and analysis of financial information required for loans, other data and/or documents required for loan collateral, if any, and any trends within the borrower, its industry or the economy that could jeopardize repayment of loan obligations within terms

  • Banking credit experience required, minimum of 10 years working with commercial business customers as a 1st line of defense relationship officer, 2nd line of defense credit officer, 3rd line of defense loan review officer or as a bank examiner for a Federal or State agency
