Full-Time Senior Consultant

We are seeking Senior Consultants to become an integral part of the Ardmore team while enjoying the benefits of working remotely.

Ardmore offers a remote work environment that focuses on flexible scheduling to allow for a successful work life balance for our team members. Our multiple lines of business provide a variety of flexible schedules that allow consultants to match their work schedule to their personal availability and enjoy the convenience of working from home.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • As part of our consulting team, you will evaluate bank loan portfolios for efficacy of the bank’s Credit Risk Management Program (CRM) to include identification, measurement, monitoring, control and reporting of credit risk
  • Opportunity to act as the backup for Team Leader or Quality Control roles as well as be a key member of our consulting team providing technical or credit issue assistance to fellow team members as needed
  • Review borrowers for proper identification of credit risk and confirm or recommend any change in credit risk ratings
  • Evaluate bank underwriting of borrowers and identify any structural weaknesses
  • Assess bank monitoring and oversight of borrower relationships to include timely receipt and analysis of financial information as well as identification of industry, economic or specific borrower trends that could positively or negatively impact repayment of the loan obligation
  • Provide qualitative and quantitative commentary on bank overall administration and supervision of the loan portfolio and credit risk observed during the review and evaluation of borrowers
  • Provide recommendations to bank on strategies to potentially improve asset quality, credit monitoring or overall efficiency and accuracies
  • Act as a Senior Consultant in specific credit consulting engagements including due diligence or CRM process reviews
  • Identify and recommend value-added consulting or credit information technology opportunities for clients

Qualifications and Skills

  • Banking credit experience required, minimum of ten years working with commercial business customers as a 1st line of defense relationship officer, 2nd line of defense credit officer, 3rd line of defense loan review officer or as a bank examiner for a Federal or State agency
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
  • Prior experience managing people, projects or client relationships highly desired
  • Strong credit skills and experience working with a variety of clients in various industries
  • Ability to work with clients and other team members to resolve issues and achieve quality goals
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with basic computer skills and a solid foundation with MS Office products
  • Experience working with electronic credit files preferred
