October 18 2011— Ardmore Banking Advisors’ executives CEO T. Alexander (Sandy) Spratt and Executive Vice President Donald C. Frueh participated as seminar presenters at two recent 2011 Community Bank Director’s Conferences, hosted by the Bank CEO Network and the PA Bankers Association in June of 2011. The seminars informed community banking directors about best practices in credit risk management. Additional engagements included a session on stress testing at the RMA (Risk Management Association) Conference on October 18 in Orlando, FL, presented by Peter Cherpack, Ardmore’s Senior Vice President and Director of Credit Risk Information Technology.

The first Community Bank Director’s Conference seminar from Ardmore Banking Advisors, "Loan Risk," was conducted on June 10; the second, "Mergers & Acquisitions and Due Diligence," took place on June 16. The Director’s Conferences are major events for the regional community banking industry, which took place in Hershey, PA.

"We’re honored to have taken part in the Directors’ Conferences this year," said Mr. Spratt, founder of Ardmore Banking Advisors. "It’s been a challenging couple of years for community banks, so directors have sought expertise and management tools to help them assess risks. They need ways to evaluate accurate data about their loan portfolios, in order to hone their dialogs and guide decision-making processes for the future. We’ve been able to lend a great deal of support to banking directors in this economy, and our speaking engagements help to spread that knowledge through a new venue."

Ardmore’s executive staff has been offering tutelage to banking industry directors for several years, and is proud to expand its speaking engagement schedule to include this year’s Director’s Conferences.
